“Massage is therapy for the body, the mind and the spirit.” ~ daily wisdom
Creative, imaginative, approachable and confident.
Those are a few words that come to mind when you meet Marina Featherstone, an RMT in north London. She’s just moved into her new studio space inside Blu Ivy Medispa at 1019 Gainsborough Road earlier this month, fulfilling a dream that she’s had for the last five years. Needless to say, she’s excited to get the word out.
She began her training more than ten years ago as a clinical Aromatherapist (which she combines with her massage treatments), leading her skin care and working in a variety of spas, enjoying the calm escapism they provide. Finding her calling in massage, she became a Registered Massage Therapist, offering her clients the very best in care and service. Now in her own studio – a wonderful space inside a quaint building that was once an old church – her artistic side can be seen in both the ambience and her treatment style, from the aromatherapy oils to the linens and décor. On a side note, marina makes her own line of oils which she’s planning on releasing as a retail collection to her clients and select vendors in the not-too-distant future …
“I love the opportunity to offer a healing, safe and rejuvenating time and space for people. We live in a world that is wrought with stress and endless to-do’s, and we often neglect ourselves. Much of the ailments that present themselves on my table diminish or vanish when deep and profound relaxation is given. The transformations I am able to facilitate and witness bring a great sense of satisfaction in my work. Often times, all a person really needs is the chance to simply be.”
So, if you’re exhausted, stressed or simply need a quiet hour to escape, send Marina an email or visit her website at Marina Featherstone.
And don’t forget to show her Facebook page some love. Tell her I said “hi!”
